Can't Eat Just ONE--Pita Chips

Okay, regardless of how healthy or unhealthy you eat, it seems like everyone has a tiny weakness for chips! I don't know if it is the saltiness, crunchiness, or combination of both, but chips are definitely a weakness of mine-- not just any chip tho!  Trader Joes' and Whole Foods both have chips that are reasonably priced and VERY tasty; however, one of my all time favorites are:

Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Pita Chips.

7 chips have:
100 calories
2.5g of fat
260g of sodium
15g of carbs
1g fiber
1g of sugar
3g of protein
2% calcium
6% iron

Ingredients: Pita bread (Wheat flour, yeast, sugar, salt, walter), sunflower and/or safflower oil, sea salt.

How can you go wrong with a snack like that? They have NO PRESERVATIVES, NO TRANS FATS, nothing but ALL-NATURAL ingredients.  And the BEST part is that they TASTE GOOD TOO!

Suggestions:

Eat Pita Chips with any of the following:
  1. Garlic Hummus
  2. Laughing Cow Garlic and Herb Cheese Squares
  3. Boursin Cheese
  4. Peach Salsa
  5. or simply PLAIN!!!!
When buying chips BEWARE of the artificial flavors and additives.  Most all chips that have added flavors will contain MSG, autolyzed yeast extract, artificial favors, natural flavors, maltodextrin, modified food starch etc...

Recommended: Lightly Salted Kettle Chips

Not Recommended: Honey Dijon Kettle Chips claim to be ALL NATURAL; however they have maltodextrin & modified food starch in them.

Not Recommended: Loaded Baked Potato Kettle Chips have maltodextrin, autolyzed yeast extract (A.K.A. MSG), & natural flavors.
